Post 94 Baseball was a blessing to our family. Our son, Edward – after dealing with an injury
at the high school level – found a home to play the game he loves with a group of top-notch
teammates, and knowledgeable coaches like Chad Bush and Ryan Troxel – who cared as
much about what the players achieved off-the-field as much, if not more, about on-field
results. We, as parents, also stress giving back to the community. Post 94 Baseball does that through partnering with Challenger Baseball and the Valparaiso Parks Department. This
opportunity allowed Edward and his teammates to give back their time and talents to an
extremely worthy cause. Because Edward received the 2024 State of Indiana and Great Lakes Regional Baseball Scholarship awards, these funds have helped him finance his Notre Dame education. He has big dreams and plans while at ND and after, and Post 94 Baseball has helped him find his passion, discern what he wants to fight for, and to become a force for good in his life. We look forward to continuing our support for the Post 94 Baseball Club and the American Legion, and helping Director Dan Sherman to ensure the teams have everything they need to continue their success!
